What kind of christmas present could make a difference to me?

It is the season to be jolly, Christmas is a time for celebration and parties.  It is a time where temptations are in abundance with mince pies at every gathering, not forgetting the mulled wine. If we are not careful we can gain weight and end up starting the new year with a bulging waist line.

Rapids Christmas Pool Closure

Due to our planned refurbishment work, there will be amendments to the pool timetable at The Rapids during December 2014. The pool will be closed from 5pm on Sunday 14th December and will reopen on Tuesday 30th December at 8am. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Glittering prizes for sporting achievers

The Romsey and District Sports Awards have celebrated several outstanding achievements in 2014.  MP Caroline Nokes was among those who presented the 12 awards in the presence of nearly 200 people at the Crosfield Hall in Romsey. The event was organised by Valley Leisure and sponsored by the Southern Daily Echo, the Romsey Advertiser and David Wilson Homes.  The awards recognised sporting achievements from school children to veterans.

Swimmers tickled pink by The Rapids’ pool

The pool at the Rapids in Romsey was transformed into a pink paradise to help raise money and awareness of breast cancer.  The Valley Leisure team at the Rapids turned the pool water pink, dressed in pink fancy dress and sold pink cakes in aid of Breast Cancer Awareness.
