Sales & Membership Manager (Part Time)
Maternity Cover (6-12 Months)
Valley Leisure are seeking an astute customer facing individual who can maximise sales and lead our customer service team. Knowledge of the Leisure or Hospitality Industries would an advantage but is not essential. We welcome applications from sales professionals who can demonstrate leadership skills, drive and sales experience are the keys from whatever their background. Working in an attractive environment, the salary and benefit package will be highly competitive, and negotiable based on experience.
The position is based at Andover Leisure Centre. Closing date: 31/12/2010.

Full Time Lifeguard
As a Lifeguard you will be part of the Wetside team and be responsible to the Operations Manager. This role is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is motivated, driven and has a desire to work within health, fitness and leisure.
The role will include:
Ensuring the constant safety of all pool users.
Supervising customer usage of all pools, in line with the operating procedures of the Centre.
Supervision of changing, shower and toilet areas.
To undertake first aid as required, and to deal with emergency incidents in line with the Emergency Action Plans of the Centre.
Comply with and apply all Customer Care Procedures in accordance with company policy to maximise customers’ enjoyment.
Previous experience or qualifications not essential as training can be provided for the right individual. The position is full time based at Andover Leisure Centre, West Street. £6.09 - £6.86 per hour.
Aqua Bump Instructor
This role is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about exercise instruction, driven and has a desire to work within health, fitness and leisure. As an Aqua Bump Instructor you will be responsible to the Swimming Co-ordinator. The role will include: Providing a high standard group exercise class in the pool, in a safe manner for ante/post natal customers. To ensure classes start and finish on time and follow the scheduled class format at the appropriate intensity level. To be available before and after the class to answer any questions and talk to customers. Applicants must hold an industry recognised fitness qualification supported by an Ante/Post Natal element.
The position is part time, up to £26.09 per hour, based at Andover Leisure Centre.
