Golfer, Richard Poyser bagged his fourth trophy of the year as he triumphed in the annual Brian White sponsored Stableford Challenge at Charlton Lakeside golf course on Saturday 18th February.

The recent competition saw fellow golfers Brian White and Stuart Allen at the top of the leader board in the clubhouse with 39 points each. But Poyser (handicap 10) ended their hopes when he presented a card containing two net eagles and six birdies, totalling 42 points.

The 70-year-old now holds four of the seven Charlton Lakes annual trophies including the Valley Leisure Claret Jug.

Charlton Lakes Golf Community, launched in 2014, encourages golf in the community, regardless of age, gender or ability. For more information about the project, and to see the full list of trophy winners, go to www.charltongolf.net.
