Andover Leisure Centre is teaming up with Disney this summer to bring Finding Dory themed family swim sessions from this Sunday (24 July).
The water based sessions, based on the follow up to popular film Finding Nemo, take families on an interactive journey to find Dory through key swimming skills and storytelling.
The sessions are part of a new nationwide programme, #JustKeepMoving, by Disney and ASA (Amateur Swimming Association) and are aimed at getting more families active and moving over the summer holidays.
Cynthia Cannon, the swimming instructor who will lead these sessions in Andover said: “It’s really important for kids to get active from a young age, but it can sometimes be hard for them to get enthusiastic about exercise.
“The Finding Dory sessions provide kids and their families with a fun and interactive swimming experience with characters that they recognise and stories that they can enjoy,” she said.
The new classes are ideal for families with children age three to nine and loyalty cards will be issued to every child that comes along. The first 100 children to complete three sessions will win a Finding Dory draw string bag.
Finding Dory Family Swim Sessions at Andover Leisure Centre will be running for six weeks from Sunday 24th July to Wednesday 31st August 2016. To book, call Andover Leisure Centre on 01264 347100.
