Pink was the colour that packed a fundraising punch at Romsey Sports Complex recently.
By dressing up in everything from striped pink onsies to florescent fuchsia tutus, the Romsey team raised just over £370 for Breast Cancer Now.
“It was great seeing everyone at Romsey embrace it after the success of Andover last week,” said Chris Attrill, physical activity development manager with Valley Leisure and one of the organisers.
“The money we raised is a real motivation to keep this going next year,” he added.
The fundraising efforts were part of ‘Wear it Pink’ day which is a national campaign to raise money for Breast Cancer Now. The money raised will go towards funding world-class breast cancer researchers across the UK and Ireland.
