A record number of Santa’s came to town last Sunday to take part in the annual Andover Santa Fun Run.

Around 400 Santa’s covered the mile long course to raise both festive spirits and money Enham Trust.

Mayor of Test Valley, Cllr Karen Hamilton, opened the festivities which saw children, adults and even pets dressed in the iconic red suit.

Mark Raithby from Valley Leisure, who organised the event said: “The fun run is a highlight in the Christmas calendar and I’m so pleased with the record turnout for this year’s event.”

“Not only is it a bit of festive fun, but we’re raising money for a great charity as well” Mark added.

The event was organised by Valley Leisure. The charitable trust also held a fun run in Romsey on the same day.
