A spot-the-difference with a difference will be taking place in the centre of Andover on 13 December as the streets are set to be, once again, filled with masses of hot-footed, red-suited Santas.

The Andover Santa fun run will make sure the season’s festivities go off in the most spectacular style. Young and old people can run, walk, jog or even skip around the mile long event, which is organised by Valley Leisure, which manages the Andover Leisure Centre, Romsey Rapids Sports Complex and Charlton Lakeside on behalf of Test Valley Borough Council.“The Santa fun run has grown into a very popular event in the Christmas calendar,” said Chris Attrill from Valley Leisure
“We hope to once again have many generations – from grandparents to babies – involved. People can push a pram, walk the dog or just stroll around the route and enjoy the ambience.” The event starts and finishes at Andover Leisure Centre.

Tickets are £6 for adults and £4 for children and can be pre-booked online or purchased from leisure centre reception. Everyone who pre-books is guaranteed a Santa suit. Pre-booked Santa suits can be picked up from Andover Leisure Centre before the event or on the day at registration.
Any profits made from the event will be donated to Cancer Research. Registration on the day opens at 9am at the Andover Leisure Centre and the run kicks off at 10am with a warm up at 9:45am.

Valley Leisure organise events, such as the fun run, to support the local community and encourage more people to become more active.
