It’s Volunteers Week at the beginning of June, and we’re taking this opportunity to shout from the rooftops about the incredible volunteers who help make everything we do possible. Whether they work directly with us at Valley Leisure Ltd, or they’re part of organisations we support or partner with, we want to say a huge thank you.

At the I Can Therapy Centre, we’re proud to have a team of five fantastic volunteers who bring joy and energy into the centre everyday. They’re often the first faces our customers see – ready with a warm welcome, a friendly chat, and an offer of water or a hot drink to keep everyone hydrated and comfortable. Their presence plays a big part in ensuring our customers leave with a smile. 

One of our volunteers has taken on a dedicated 1-1 support role, offering assistance to an individual customer. This type of involvement is not only incredibly impactful but also hugely rewarding for both the volunteer and customer alike. 

This Volunteers Week, we’re also excited to officially welcome four new volunteers to Valley Leisure Ltd. These brilliant individuals have recently joined us through an adoption process, and their involvement is already helping us expand our I Can offering – reaching more people, in more ways, and in more places. Watch this space for more information about how this expansion will help us continue to support our community’s health and wellbeing.
